Before the journey, the heart prepares.

Intention

It begins as a quiet resolve in the heart, spoken to no one, witnessed by One. Long before any distance is crossed, the direction is set within.

Knowledge

To learn the rites is itself an act of devotion: each step of the Prophet's path, its order and its meaning, studied until the way feels familiar before it is ever walked.

الطهارة

Purification

The cleansing of the body mirrors a deeper work: settling debts, mending ties, releasing grudges, so the traveler leaves lighter than they lived.

الإحرام

Ihram

Two unstitched white cloths, the same for a king and a stranger. Rank is folded away with the clothing; what remains is simply a servant.

الزاد

Provision

Pack little; prepare much. “And take provision, for the best provision is the awareness of God.” The lightest luggage is a prepared heart.
